Great White North Lodges began in 1994 with the purchase of our first lodge, Kaskattama Goose Lodge. Kaska is a fly-in goose hunting lodge located 650 miles north of Winnipeg, Manitoba on the coast of Hudson Bay.

At the time our dream was to own and operate several remote, fly-in wilderness lodges that offered exceptional facilities, incomparable service and access to extraordinary natural resources to a discerning clientele. In 2002 that dream came to fruition with the purchase of Golden Eagle Lodge, located on Sickle Lake, 28 miles southeast of Lynn Lake, Manitoba. With the purchase of Golden Eagle we now own and operate four remote, fly-in hunting and fishing lodges located in three different Canadian Provinces and having access to over 40 separate lakes and rivers - and even an ocean! Since 1994, after our initial purchase of Kaskattama we have acquired Minor Bay Lodge and Outposts, located on Wollaston Lake in northern Saskatchewan - noted for its tremendous northern pike fishing.

Slippery Winds Lodge, 35 miles northwest of Fort Frances, Ontario which offers guests the opportunity to angle for six species of sport fish on six different lakes. We have intentionally restricted our lodge capacities from 16 guests at Golden Eagle, Kaska and Slippery Winds to a maximum of 26 guests at Minor Bay Lodge, so we may offer our guests exceptional, personalized service, in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We invite you to experience one of the Great White North Lodges. Our ultimate goal today, as it was when we first started ou in the lodge business, is to not only meet your expectations - but to pass them!
